Reviewing Accomplishments

“大多数人高估世界卫生大会t they can do in one year and underestimate what they can do in ten years."

〜比尔盖茨

*重要的提示:The below are the results of the first step of my annual goal setting process, as outlined in the totally free目标设置和动作工作簿这将在本周晚些时候下载。

***** I usually try to spend the week between Christmas and New Years not doing much at all. It's mainly family time, relaxing and some pretty deep reflection. One of my favorite parts of the year is this annual pondering. I'll spend hours on end reviewing my events, goals, weekly planning documents and each month on my calendar. Just to let the past 12 months soak in. This is always the first step of my annual goal setting process and the first step of every new year. You notice the quote from Bill Gates above. Well, I like the to think of that even shorter term:

大多数人高估了他们在一天内可以做的事情,而是低估了一年中可以做的事情。

这是惊人的,如果不是介意,我们中的任何一个都能够在几个月内完成和体验。

Thank You

A few thoughts on gratitude...

Every year my wife makes a calendar on iPhoto of all the prior year's experiences for us to keep up in the kitchen. This month she came up with something a little different. For every day of the month we'd write in a few things we're thankful for. For the most part I'm a pretty appreciative guy and try to take very little for granted. But an exercise like this is incredibly eye-opening. So often we don't realize all the mind-blowing things, big and small, that we take as given.

This past two weeks of launchingLive Off Your Passion是那些时代之一。

The experience of putting my first major paid project up for sale (and scrutiny), is enough to make a guy lose some major sleep (which I did). But it also turned out to be one of the most rewarding, proud, exciting and overall fun experiences I've ever had.

These blogs will make you think. A lot of these people are hardly 30 years old and some are barely 20.They're living proof that it's possible to do what you love and to share it with others.

How often have you stopped to think about how free you are? In the U.S., today is the day we've decided to celebrate our freedom. But with all the BBQ, beer, fireworks and fun, it's all too easy to forget the importance of such a word. While today may be a subtle reminder for some of us, we must embrace and cherish our freedom every day. It's all around us. And it's so easy to take for granted. Today and everyday forward, I encourage you to embrace what we have at our fingertips. Make the below a part of your everyday life and allow yourself to live freely.
